Who We Help

Every year LATA SF works hard to raise money, volunteer time, and find resources to help empower our Latinx students and fellow educators in San Francisco. Academic success is our major goal and scholarships are a big part of how we help those who need it most. We’re proud to offer scholarships for both students & new teachers in our community.

“Once social change begins, it cannot be reversed. You cannot un-educate the person who learned how to read. You cannot humiliate the person who feels pride. You cannot oppress the people who are not afraid anymore. We have seen the future, and the future is ours.”

Cesar Chavez – San Francisco, Nov. 9th, 1984
